Joni Herison is a seasoned Bhutan travel expert and author, best known as the co‑author of the Bhutan Travelog guidebook. Since his first transformative visit in May 2008, he’s returned over 30 times, cultivating deep connections with the Bhutanese community and culture.
Holding a degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Joni initially built a career in technology before following his passion for travel into tourism.
He now serves as Managing Director at Druk Asia, the pioneering Bhutan specialist agency headquartered in Singapore, where he leads partner relations and crafts immersive, bespoke journeys.
